Pathfinders assisting girl overcome practice barriers

Milwaukee nonprofit Pathfinders currently is hosting a pursuit satisfactory for pursuit seekers younger than 25.

The Pathways to Employment Youth Job Fair is being hold currently from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. during Pathfinders’ offices, 4200 N. Holton St., #405, Milwaukee. Job opportunities will embody retail, patron service, warehouse, food use and other roles.

Among a employers participating in a satisfactory are Walgreens, Wells Fargo, Journeys, Public Allies, Sprint, Panera Bread, Goodwill, Job Corps, Planned Parenthood of Southeast Wisconsin, Goodwill TalentBridge, Fight for $15, Journey House, Riverworks Development Corp., Wendy’s and McDonald’s.

Organized by a girl concentration organisation that pronounced it indispensable assistance relocating over barriers to employment, a pursuit satisfactory is being charity by a Pathways to Employment and Youth Ultimately Making a Difference programs.

Pathfinders employees and volunteers have been holding resume workshops and charity giveaway haircuts, wardrobe assistance and superintendence to meddlesome field to ready for a pursuit fair.

“We wish that employers turn some-more sensitive about immature people holistically, so they too, can maintain a growth of a destiny generations, a destiny leaders,” pronounced DeShanda Williams, module manager for Pathfinders’ Drop-In Center. “We wish that immature people feel some-more carefree about their future.”

Another arriving pursuit satisfactory will be open to all pursuit seekers.

The Workforce Development Center will horde a pursuit satisfactory on Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. during Waukesha County Technical College’s S Building, 800 Main St. in Pewaukee.

More than 130 open and private businesses and practice apparatus organizations will be on palm to sinecure for evident openings in sectors including patron service, health care, hospitality, information technology, logistics, manufacturing, and sales.

Among a participating companies are Aurora Health Care, UPS, Generac, The Boucher Automotive Group, Time Warner Cable and Grand Geneva Resort and Spa.

The satisfactory is giveaway and does not need registration for pursuit seekers.

“Events like a Workforce Development Center’s Job Fair move together internal businesses and a community’s learned workforce to assistance businesses grow and definitely impact a mercantile vitality.
