Hastings’ financial arch resigns

Hastings’ financial executive has resigned, after 15 years of operative for a city. Charlene Stark has been on paid executive leave given late Jul following a censure to a City Council, pronounced Melanie Mesko Lee, Hastings’ city administrator.

Mesko Lee declined to share sum of a complaint, citing confidentiality.

Stark’s abdication will be deliberate by a legislature during Monday’s meeting, Mesko Lee said, adding that since Stark resigned, there would be no final disciplinary movement taken opposite her.

Stark came to Hastings to offer as partner financial executive in 2000, relocating adult to financial executive in 2005. Before that, she worked for a city of Bloomington.
