The musical-chairs-style transformation of labor and use lawyers in Pennsylvania
continued Aug. 2 when 8 Philadelphia lawyers left Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell
Hippel for Buchanan Ingersoll Rooney.

Buchanan Ingersoll mislaid several labor and use attorneys in May when Cozen O’Connor
non-stop a Pittsburgh office. With these newcomers, Buchanan has roughly 60 labor and
use lawyers.

“We’ve been articulate to this organisation given Dec of 2016,” Buchanan Ingersoll CEO
Joseph A. Dougherty told Bloomberg BNA Aug. 2. The lawyers from Obermayer fit with
Buchanan’s “strategic devise to combine on a use side” of a labor and
use practice, he said.

Joseph J. Centeno, who led a labor and use dialect during Obermayer, will
join David J. Laurent as co-chair of Buchanan’s labor and use section. “The
event was for my clients to have entrance to all that Buchanan has to offer” with
a “great abyss and extent of lawyers and geography,” Centeno told Bloomberg BNA
Aug. 2. “Joe Dougherty and we have been friends for 20 years,” and “there have been
many conversations in a lives about operative together.”

Buchanan’s new attorneys include of 4 shareholders: Joseph J. Centeno, Larry Besnoff,
Jacqueline K. Gallagher, and Min S. Suh; and 4 associates: Teleicia J.R. Dambreville,
Gregory J. Eck, Charlene A. Barker Gedeus, and Michael E. Truncellito.

Expertise and Diversity

Dougherty pronounced a lawyers have low imagination in several workplace matters, including
use counseling, immigration, and category movement lawsuits. They also raise Buchanan’s
farrago since “four out of a 8 lawyers are different from an racial standpoint,”
Dougherty said. Centeno is a former boss of a National Asian Pacific American
Bar

“The people who are withdrawal are good lawyers and friends of mine, and I’m unhappy to see
them leave, though we know that they had an event that they felt they had
to take,” Mathieu J. Shapiro, a handling partner of Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell
Hippel, told Bloomberg BNA Aug. 2. “I wish them all a best.”

“We still have a capability to do anything in labor and use and to serve
a clients,” Shapiro said. Michael Pepperman is a new conduct of Obermayer’s labor
and use department, he said.

Obermayer’s website lists 11 labor and use attorneys. Shapiro pronounced he wants
to “replenish” a department, so “I will keep some-more of an eye out for labor and employment
people.”
